The things we enjoyed

The park was renovated post right before COVID, with a new splash, pad, play structure, and washroom facilities.  The area provides plenty of shade with mature trees on a hot day, and there are a few benches and picnic tables to set up a little picnic; You could also do as we did and bring a blanket to set up in the grass.

It’s an enjoyable little play area for younger kids, and, because of the water feature, can offer hours of entertainment and refreshing vibes.

The things we missed

The swing sets are so low that it makes it almost impossible to push the kids.  That may sound like a petty complaint but it drives me nuts when playgrounds do this.

The play structure itself, being so new updated, could have used a bit more interesting features.  With so many cool, interactive, and elaborate builds going in these days, it seems like a miss to not have more to do and explore.  It also would have been nice if they put in some of the adult features that are around a few areas these days.
